Our Mission
Wicked Addiction is all about the bling! We have an insatiable passion for creating stunning crystal shoes and purses that will take center stage on a special day in your life. From dazzling wedding, prom and party shoes to amazing crystal clutches, we are excited to get to know you and make your shoe or purse dreams come true!
Our site features a selection of our custom, hand painted crystal shoes and accessories, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. The items you see on our site have all been created for past orders, but we will gladly replicate a design for you or work on something completely new and fabulous based on your ideas and inspirations…whatever they may be! Whether you dream of shoes fit for a princess or want to pay homage to your favorite fantasy character or show support for a sports team, we can make it happen so don't be shy about asking for it!
All of our shoes and accessories are designed and made to order in the USA by our small team of talented family members and friends. Our designs are 100% original to Wicked Addiction; please be wary of imitations!
Meet the Designer
Jaci's background is actually in Sales and Marketing which comes in useful sometimes even though it has nothing to do with fabulous shoes! Before, and during her career working “for the man,” she enjoyed drawing and painting as a hobby and had run a business creating hand painted children's furniture; although it wasn't until later that a happy coincidence led her down the path to being a designer of fantastic crystal creations!
In 2009, Jaci found herself unexpectedly” between jobs” after her employer went through a round of downsizing. Around the same time, a good friend of hers, who is a lifelong Cardinals fan, asked Jaci to design and make her a pair of bling Cardinals shoes to match a shirt that she had previously made.
Jaci took on the challenge and when her friend saw a picture of the shoes, she was so impressed that she immediately shared the image of the shoes on her Facebook page. Jaci's sister also saw the picture and shared it again. From there it went viral! Jaci started getting requests for custom shoes from both friends and people she didn't know.
It didn't take long before Jaci set up the Wicked Addiction Facebook page and website with help from her two sisters. She brought in some other family members to help her run the small business and is happy to report that making bling shoes is now her full time occupation/obsession!
The Design Process: Custom is Key!
Our custom design process starts with you and allows us to transfer ideas out of your imagination into ours and then bring those ideas to life! After you initially contact us (either here through our website, by email or through Facebook), our designer Jaci will reach out to you to find out what inspires you. She will carefully extract that inspiration from your brain into her own to get a full understanding of what you want your shoes or purse to look like in real life.
The design consultation may go back and forth a few times, but once she feels that she is on your wavelength, Jaci typically paints the spectacular designs out of her imagination right onto the shoes or bag! We understand that some future bling shoe wearers may need extra reassurance, so we can make and send a sketch of the design for your approval at this point in the process if needed (extra charge applies).
Our past designs (some of which are shown here on the website) have been dictated by our clients’ dreams and desires. Themes have included movies, books and TV shows as well as sports, personal experience, lifestyle and iconic brands and characters. We're not afraid of a challenge and we thrive on new ideas, so don't be afraid to contact us about something that might seem unusual or "out there"!
Our most popular item is blinged heels, but we can design for any type of shoe including (but not limited to) ballet flats, sneakers, wedges and even flip flops. We also design shoes for men and purses including clutches.
We are a small team and our process involves hand painting fantastic glittery designs onto a plain pair of shoes or a plain purse to which we add individual tiny Swarovski crystals by hand. We love using brilliant colors and dazzling crystals to maximum effect in order to make a unique pair of shoes or a bag that previously only existed in dreams.
We design shoes for any occasion, but when it comes to weddings, we can create shoes for everyone involved including bride, groom, bridesmaids, flower girl, groomsmen, mother of the bride and guests. We can work with your theme or color to come up with shoes that will make yours a wedding that won't easily be forgotten!!
Our custom bling shoes and purses are works of art in high demand; the process of making them is extremely detailed and time consuming, therefore our regular turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Rush orders are available, refer to our FAQs or contact us for details.
